Step aside, spiders—there's another web designer in town.
My name is Zack Goehner, and I am a website designer. (Note: my sites do not catch flies.)
All of my websites are hand-crafted with technical skill and design expertise. Built on a feature-rich, expandable content management system, your website will be alive and easy to care for. I specialize in websites for the small-to-medium-sized business, artists, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Logo design and identity development* packages are available.
Call me at (206) 718-4583 or send me a message if you’d like a website created.
*Mostly in the design sense, but I’d be willing to give existential advice if so desired.
Fashion designer Ruthie Nicklaus needed a website that would capture the attention of the young, indie crowd. The website allows her to take clothing orders directly through the website, as well as manage photo galleries and a blog.
The design for this project is visually rich and lyrical, but the underlying structure makes it easy for this acclaimed musician to update the site from the road.
This project was inherited as an active and popular blog in need of a major face lift. The author received a fresh new logo and color scheme for multi-media use, while the site layout was updated with a sophisticated but inviting design.
This renowned landmark needed a website to complement its rich history. The website was redesigned from scratch to establish a tool for the wide range of viewers it attracts. Using design elements inspired by the estate itself, the site is an educational extension of the unique American treasure it is.
In Development
The Wisconsin EAP site provides general information for prospective members, and monthly updates for existing members via web and RSS. The site handles registrations for the annual EAP conference.
The website for this Kansas City jazz musician is full of sound, and rich colors and textures. The site provides all the major functions expected in a music site, but with a little extra personality.
The Pacific Northwest has a vibrant independent publications scene. I am fortunate to be the artistic director for Vain, a Seattle-based independent zine, featuring art, poetry, short fiction, film and music.
The rigors of web design can leave anyone cold and alone on the outer edges of artistic wilderness. Treatloaf is a daily web-comic serving two primary functions: 1) showcase some of the most absurdly brilliant clip art ever made, and 2) give me a place to be funny. Sometimes it’s better to keep humor in a corner where it can’t cause trouble.
